In advance of the 2026 Perioperative Care Congress, a pre-course research workshop will be offered on the afternoon of Friday, November 13, 2026. The event is hosted in collaboration with the Perioperative Care Research Network (PCRN) and the Society for Perioperative Research and Care (SPRC). The workshop will be held in the David Braley Health Sciences Centre (Hamilton, ON).

Key note lectures from leaders in perioperative research, Presentation on hot topics in perioperative research, Updates from the Canadian initiatives to promote and expand clinicals trials in perioperative research, Breakout sessions for presentations and discussions of research ideas and proposals, Presentations from investigators looking to expand collaboration in ongoing research, Opportunities for networking, collaboration, and mentoring opportunities between trainees, early career, and established researchers in perioperative care
