In front of a cottage, on an island in the middle of a river, Hubert and Henriette, their bellies hollowed out by hunger, wait for the end. The rich arrive: Trudy and Crayon, the owners of the island, accompanied by Hugo, the golf pro. The trio has just left the city to escape the economic, environmental and health crises. Then, it’ll be Mimi, Dodo, Nini, Titi, Kaka, Nono and Tata’s turn to come out of the ground, where they were digging up the mystery, the mystery of the hole. Why were they in the hole? Maybe the Earth isn’t a separate entity from humans, not just an object, not just a backdrop. Maybe nowadays, the only way to achieve a certain kind of ecological thinking is through the arts.
In the case of a refund, the ticket fee of $0,56 will not be refunded.
Warning: this show contains theatre!
Author's disclaimer:
There are characters. There are twelve of them. Their genders? Their ethnicities? I couldn't say. They are more paper than flesh, constructed according to an alphabetical code instead of a genetic code. You can picture them any way you like. But that, of course, is always the case for you, the reader (and possibly the viewer). Beyond the paper, the thing belongs to you: you imagine what's written, what's missing, what's hidden in the white spaces. So there you have it... you're free. I've said it. The warning is given. I only hope I don't put words on paper that could hurt... Art is dangerous. Any form of art. Creation recreates the space of wounds, often buried, names the unspeakable, opens what was closed.
Yet... And yet... And yet..
