Get ready for laughter, magic, music, and family fun as Knowlton Players proudly presents Hansel & Gretel – The Pantomime, written by Alan P. Frayn and presented by arrangement with Stage Right Creative Ltd.
Directed by Katherine Jacques, this lively and entertaining pantomime will take the stage at Theatre Lac-Brome for eight performances from November 19 to 22 and November 26 to 29, 2026.
Join Hansel and Gretel on a thrilling journey through an enchanted forest where danger, mischief, and plenty of surprises await. Can Bluebell, the Fairy of the Forest, rescue Hansel and Gretel before they become dinner for Nightshade, the Wicked Witch of the Woods? Determined to turn the tables and finally get her way, Nightshade has a few tricks up her sleeve, but she may have underestimated the power of friendship, courage, and a little bit of magic.
Packed with colourful characters, an outrageous Dame, audience participation, music, comedy, and magical surprises, Hansel & Gretel – The Pantomime offers a delightful theatre experience for audiences of all ages.
Fairytale Warning: Audience participation is highly encouraged, so prepare to boo the villains and cheer for our heroes! However, if you choose to purchase tickets on the row ends, please be advised that you are entering the "Enchanted Splash Zone"—a little bit of theatrical magic (and a slight mist of water) just might come your way!
