Pianist Tomoko Inui, violinist Frédéric Bednarz, and cellist Julie Dessureault bring together their shared curiosity for chamber music in a program tracing a path from Mozart’s luminous lyricism to the richly expressive Romantic landscapes of Josef Suk and Johannes Brahms. Infused with echoes of Austrian elegance and Czech folk-inspired rhythms, Luminescence and Longing explores a world suspended between radiance and yearning, intimacy and passion.
