Collaborating with your team members and under the supervision of the technology department manager, you will be required, inter alia, to analyze the actual tools and to enhance the procedures related to data in the context of event management. You will be asked to evaluate the data hygiene in order to optimize it afterwards. Furthermore, you will participate in the development of new tools and will contribute to the database architecture by conceiving pioneering analytical approaches. To maximize the usage of the available data, you will be required to create statistical modelling which can be descriptive, predictive or prescriptive.

The main project that the candidate will be assigned to is the development of a CRM system that will enable the event organizers to better manage the relations between the ticket buyers and their events, for the purpose of optimizing their sales.

This offer is for a full-time position. Our offices are located in the St-Roch district in Quebec city and in the Rosemont district of Montreal, closeby to multiple restaurants, grocery stores, local shops, parks and public transit.   • Education level: college diploma and/or university degree, or self-taught with pertinent experience.
  • Years of experience required: 2
  • Mastery of Graph Database (Dgraph, Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, DataStax or others) and Elasticsearch
  • A propensity to document the work done while adapting to established standards is more than welcome for perpetuity.
  • Knowledge about the GraphQL language
  • Understanding of the OpenAPI Specification

At the server level, we have developed our own Docs-as-Code–based framework over the years. Each component is defined according to the OpenAPI Specification (v3) and the code uses data models (schema objects) to validate and run the components and our API. In other words, simply making a change to the documentation updates the way the code works. The languages used are PHP and Node.js. On the client side, we develop everything with the Vue.js framework.

We use relational (MySQL), key-value (Redis) and document-oriented (Elasticsearch) databases as needed. We also have a soft spot for the WebSocket protocol.

We are offering a competitive salary depending on your qualifications and professional experience which can reach between 50,000 CA$ and 75,000 CA$ per year.
