DUBWISE MEETING #10: YARRA SOUND INVITES DAN I / IMPERIAL SOUND ARMY (IT)

For the tenth edition of Dubwise Meeting, Yarra Sound is thrilled to welcome Dan I of Imperial Sound Army, coming straight from northern Italy for his first appearance in Canada!

One of the most prominent voices of the European conscious dub scene, Dan I brings together singing, songwriting and production. From his early releases with Moa Anbessa and Alpha & Omega to his own label, Imperial Roots Records, his music carries a deep spiritual message rooted in Rastafari.

Active since 2002, Imperial Sound Army has brought its heavyweight Roots & Dub sound to sessions across Europe and the UK, including University of Dub, Sub Dub, Rototom, International Dub Gathering and Dub Camp.

For this special Montreal session, Dan I takes the controls alongside Yarra Sound, your local Roots & Culture Sound System. With handcrafted speakers and selections strictly on vinyl and dubplates, Yarra Sound delivers deep bass and conscious vibrations.

Expect deep Roots, heavyweight Dub and Steppers all night long!
