MULCH (Montreal, QC) was born out of an urgent need for vulnerability and experimentation. Initially rooted in hardcore punk, the band quickly blurred boundaries by integrating noise rock, drone, and math rock into its chaotic universe. Between avant-garde post-punk and raw sonic exploration, MULCH likes to ask more questions than it answers.
Since forming in December 2023, it has released a string of projects: their first bilingual EP Nothing Grows Out of Dried Flowers (February 2024), an explosive split with Population II (Mulchulation II, October 2024, Bonsound), and the audacious Nuance Maximum (November 2024), entirely in French.
Unless otherwise specified by the producer, the show will be presented to a standing audience.
