Harold Night at le Grand brings the classic improv format popularized at Chicago’s iO Theatre to le Grand Yes And! We've lined up back to back to back premier Canadian Harold troupes who specialize in the format for your eyes and earballs! Watch as they take audience suggestions and fully flesh them out into a rich tapestry of hilarity, chaos, and heart.
The Harold is a classic technical improv format created by Del Close, where players create premises, stories and characters from an audience prompt. From there, they take you on a journey where scenes unfold, hilarity insues, and unexpected connections arise.
The Harold is a common practice used for writing all sorts of sitcoms. Most TV comedians you see have been on Harold teams at one point in their entertainment career. This show, is not one you want to miss, for both improvisers and non-improvisers alike!

Reindeer Tornado is a longform Harold troupe that brings a high energy physical style, with fluid organic openings and group games to intersperse between beats and scenes. Reindeer Tornado has performed Harold at iO Fest in Chicago, DIF in Detroit, Buffalo, and produces Harold Night in Toronto.
