FalseGods returns to Canada with a special one-night Montréal showcase at Piranha Bar, Hell Stage(Basement Venue) on December 19th — bringing together some of the heaviest acts from Quebec and Ontario for an explosive year-end metal event.
Formed in Montreal and rising through three nationwide tours in China, FalseGods blends modern technical death metal with cinematic Warhammer-inspired storytelling. Following their recent performance with Distant, the band headlines this stacked lineup with a full 50-minute set.

Moldead (Montreal) — crushing, riff-driven heaviness representing Montreal’s hardcore scene

False Gods
FalseGods is a modern technical death / melodic death metal band originally formed in Montréal and later active across northern China. Known for their blend of crushing riffwork, intricate technicality, and expansive storytelling, the band has become one of China’s most recognized emerging extreme-metal acts.
Their debut full-length Embrace Eternal Suffering (2022) was selected for Sound Library’s “Top 10 Most Beloved Albums of the Year”, establishing the band’s signature fusion of thrash aggression, melodic intensity, and cinematic atmosphere.
From 2023 onward, FalseGods released a series of acclaimed Warhammer 40K–themed singles — Time For Heresy, Abyss of Agony, Immolation, and Astra (Never Shines Again) — paired with large-scale tours across China and the country’s first live-action/AI hybrid metal music video.
In 2024, the band dropped the anti-war single Dreadnought and became endorsed artists for Mooer Audio. Their sophomore album Shadow Work: DongWan, created alongside award-winning author Shi Chen, launched a twelve-city tour and showcased a dual-vocalist lineup that further defined their immersive live identity.
2025 marks the band’s return to Canada, completing their circle from Montréal roots to international growth. FalseGods now headline a special Montréal show with new material, refined production, and the intense stage presence that has driven their rise across Asia’s metal scene.
FalseGods delivers a performance that merges narrative world-building, technical precision, and raw emotional force — a rare combination in today’s modern metal landscape.
Becoming The Bully
Founded in 2014, Becoming The Bully is a Montreal area Metalcore band. The project took off when Carl, Dany and Hugues from the band Under Aspect decided they wanted to explore other musical endeavors. With lots of songs in the making for a few years, they recruited Steven from Last Shut Eye and Olivier from Jane and Mary to complete the pack. They are now writing some more songs and planning on releasing an EP in early 2015, so stay tuned. This is only the beginning. ///
Fondé en 2014, Becoming The Bully est un groupe de metalcore Montréalais. Le projet a commencé lorsque Carl, Dany et Hugues du groupe Under Aspect ont décidé d'explorer différentes possibilités musicales. Avec déjà plusieurs compositions en préparation, ils ont finalement complété la formation en recrutant Steven et Olivier. Ils sont présentement en composition pour un EP prévu début 2015. Stay tuned. Ce n'est que le commencement.

“Harvested is a death metal group with members from Ontario and Quebec. Taking influences from classic death metal legions with a modern touch. The members are ‘Mitchi Dimitriadis’ on guitars. ‘Eric Forget’ on bass, ‘Adam Semler’ on vocals and ‘Jacob Collins’ on drums. Mitchi is a local Ottawa producer. He’s also taken on engineering the EP and finalized pre-production for the release. Drums were recorded at ‘Silver Wing Studios’ in Montreal. Guitars, bass and vocals were officially recorded, all instruments mixed and mastered at ‘Dark Moon Productions’. Adam Semler has been a household name in the Ottawa, ON metal scene taking the world by storm with his ground breaking projects. Includes but not limited to A Scar For The Wicked, Misshapen, Hatred Reigns and Harmoniaq. Harvested is ready to make their debut on May 7th 2022.”
