Cam Kahin

Cam Kahin is an alt-rock fire-starter turning chaos into catharsis. Raised in tiny Dunnville, Ontario with no scene to claim him, he found purpose in hardcore basements and fuzzed-out guitars. After two break-through EPs earned him praise as one of Canada’s “fearless new rock voices,” he arrives with CHUG(DLX) the deluxe version of his raw, unfiltered debut album. Reflecting on the focus single ‘hamilton’, Kahin says, “I wrote this song as a tribute not just to a city I spent a lot of time in growing up, but also the energy of the shows I would go to and how much I needed them at the time. Living pretty secluded about 40 minutes away, Hamilton became my entrance into the rest of the world. The city has seen every part of me so far - being a kid who just wanted to mosh, recording local rappers in my first apartment, my first ever show at doors pub to now headlining 300 cap rooms full of people who I hope are getting that same feeling I lived for growing up. ” Prior to its release Kahin had been teasing the track “hamilton” on socials and it generated strong organic engagement on TikTok.
