Nino & Electric Soul
Nino & Electric Soul was formed by
frontman Nino Flamenco in Montreal,
Canada, in 2021, as a way to dive deeper
into his inner self during a time of
change, both musically and personally.
Growing up in a musical household with
a mother who is a soul singer, an older
brother rooted in hip-hop culture, and
a father whose musical taste varies
from jazz to rock, Nino found his outlet
and a way to express himself after
picking up a guitar at the age of 5. He
found his voice around the same time
and coincidentally on his mother's self-
titled debut album Sylvie Desgroseilliers
as a feature on one of the lead singles,
Ta chanson.
Nino & Electric Soul established their
genre within Soul. Reminiscent of the
70s, their musical arrangements and
use of live instruments are inspired by
artists such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin
Gaye, Earth Wind and Fire, Jimi
Hendrix, and Funkadelic. Additionally,
the attitude of 90s and 2010s R&B
artists like D'Angelo and Anderson .Paak
helped the band develop their sound that give them an edge to bridge the old and new school sound.

KOLA, the Montreal-based producer and multi-instrumentalist, emerged in the music scene with a distinctive fusion of electronic soul, funk, and R&B, crafting tracks marked by lush synths and intricate drum patterns inspired by icons like J Dilla, Daft Punk, and Marvin Gaye. His early production work on Yzabo’s EP “Bad Habit” and his collaboration with Frase, which included a tour across Italy, established him as a rising talent in Montreal’s vibrant music community. Building on this momentum, KOLA released his own EP, "Bounce in Peace", to widespread acclaim, featuring standout tracks like “Love Myself” and “More Than It Seems” with Fawna.
