Are you concerned about the quality of recreational fishing?
The St. John river watershed organization, in collaboration with New-Brunswick Environmental and Wildlife Trust Funds, Canadian Rivers Institute, Two Countries One Forest, Core Leadership Team, Madawaska Rivers Management Corporation and WWF-Canada, invites you to register for the Regional Forum Fish from the Upper St. John, diversity and habitat, from yesterday to tomorrow. The Upper St. John represents the area upstream the fall of Grand Falls in the St. John river watershed and is shared between Quebec, Maine and New Brunswick.
This event is a unique opportunity to learn more about the current situation of fish in the lakes and rivers of this territory and also to make us aware on how and why we need to take actions for the protection and conservation of an international resources of environmental, economical and cultural significance. Nature lovers, and especially fisherman, as well as municipal service managers, elective representatives, front-line stakeholders, river associations, college and university students and teachers in natural sciences are invited to participate in large number.

Registration is only $20 during presales and includes a meal, two healthy breaks and a special access to all the conferences offered by an international panel of specialists in aquatic resource management and conservation from New Brunswick, Maine and Quebec, including Jack Imhof - Director of Conservation Ecology at Trout Unlimited Canada and André St-Hilaire - Scientific Director of Canadian Rivers Institute.
Please note that the conferences will be given both in English and French. A simultaneous interpretation services will be offered on throughout the day event!

Tickets are $20 until November 15th and are available at Pronature (74 Victoria Street, Edmundston, NB) or at J.A. St-Pierre & Fils (70 boul. Phil-Latulippe, Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac, Qc) or using the online ticketing. You can also purchase one for 30$ the day of the event, at the entrance.
