Radio-Canada’s 2020-2021 revelation in the jazz categorie, Québec bassist Carl Mayotte presents an exclusive concert dedicated to Weather Report. He and his quintet will pay tribute to this group founded by Wayne Shorter and Joe Zawinul. With the arrival of Jaco Pastorius, one of the most influential bassists of the 20th century, the group reached its peak, adding to jazz elements of rock, funk and electro. A real revolution in jazz fusion of the 1970s and 1980s!
