Roberto Lopez

Roberto is a Colombian-Canadian artist based out of Montreal. An accomplished composer, lyricist, producer, arranger, and guitarist. He has performed extensively across Canada with his ensembles, toured Mexico and Chile, while continuing to push the boundaries of modern Latin music, unabashedly adding funk, jazz and electronic music to the mix. Winner of the Artiste révélation Radio-Canada award (2010-11), the FMMJ Award at the Francofolies de Montréal (2006) and the RIDEAU/ROSEQ award (2018). Nominated for World album of the year at the Gala de l'ADISQ (2013-2017), at the JUNO Awards (2011), at the GAMIQ - Quebec Indie Awards (2010-2012), and at the Canadian Folk Music Awards (2010-2012-2017). robertolopez.ca
