The Hearst Ontario and Region Music Festival (HOREM) presents a Classical Recital. Come cheer on local musicians and show off the talents of northerners. During the day, pieces are played by musicians of the competitive and non-competitive sections (free), on Thursday evening there is a community show (free), and on Friday evening, a classical piano recital is presented by the festival's guest adjudicator.
In honor of the 250th birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven, a great German composer, musicians will record time in a contemporary setting by reprising some of his rich and moving pieces.
