A symbol of rebellion and female emancipation!

This lecture explores the history of Lilith, an iconic figure in the world of witchcraft. It traces her evolution—from ancient demon to late-19th century liberator of women—while examining her impact on contemporary witches and practitioners of the Sacred Feminine. An overview of her powerful and symbolic legacy through the ages.

A lecture that is not to be missed as we approach International Women’s Day!

Vanessa Toupin-Lavallée

A PhD student in Religious Sciences at the Université du Québec à Montréal and a graduate in Ancient Religions, Vanessa Toupin-Lavallée analyzes the history of witchcraft practices through time, particularly in contemporary esotericism. She also has an interest in the place of women and the construction of the witch and identity in various sociohistorical and socioreligious contexts.
