Blue Metropolis Grand Prix - CHANGES

We have had to modify of our Blue Metropolis Grand Prix 2023 event due to unforeseen circumstances. The winner, Mr. Michael Ondaatje, will be receiving his award and conducting his interview by video conference tonight. This adjustment is in relation to health concerns and being proactive of possible Covid-19 related symptoms, Mr. Ondaatje considered it safer to avoid being physically present and flying.

We will present him with his award and tribute tonight at 8 pm.  CBC's Eleanor Wachtel will be on stage with the 2023 New Contribution Prize as the opening act.

We thank the audience for their kindness and understanding.

Ticket holders who wish to do so can get a refund.

Canadian writer Michael Ondaatje receives the Blue Metropolis Award for lifetime achievement. The author of Warlight and The English Patient talks with CBC Radio host Eleanore Wachtel. In the first part the award ceremony of the Blue Metropolis/Arts Council of Montreal New Contribution Award will take place.
