Damien Robitaille

Damien Robitaille was born in 1981 in the village of Lafontaine, Ontario. He began his musical career at a very young age, learning classical piano from the age of eight, guitar at the age of thirteen, and trumpet and violin when he was in high school. Around the age of fifteen, he begins to compose his own songs, for the moment in the language of Shakespeare . At the age of eighteen, on the advice of his music teacher, Damien Robitaille decided to turn to composition in French and recorded his first album. The following year, he began studying classical music at Wilfrid Laurier University. It was at this university that he became a member of the rock band The Mezameeze , with which he could play his francophone compositions and win a university musical contest. In 2003, Robitaille left university after the launch of his eponymous album. The same year, he went to the final of the Ontario Pop contest and won a scholarship to attend the National School of Song in Granby, Quebec. In 2004, he finished his course and became a finalist at the Granby International Song Festival, winning six prizes. He then moved to Montreal, where he still resides. From 2004 to 2006, he won several distinctions such as, for example, the first prize at the Francouvertes de Montréal. It is in 2006 that Damien launches his album The man who looks like me . From the release of this album, Damien will make several trips to Europe. On September 8, 2009, his album Homme Autonome was officially launched in Montreal. He will reap eight nominations at Adisq. In January 2011, he was named 8 times for the 2011 Trille Gold Awards Gala. During the evening, he won 6 statuettes. This award ceremony was held at Béatrice Desloges High School in Orléans on March 24, 2011. Damien Robitaille is releasing a new album in the fall of 2012. The album is entitled Omnipresent . The tour will run until the fall of 2015. In 2013, he still wins 8 nominations at the Trille Or Awards Gala for his new album, Omnipresent and his website In 2014 he will be nominated at JunoAwards for Album francophone of the year. PIECE PER PIECE A RETURN TO THE WORK OF THE ARTIST While waiting to return to writing, Damien decides to leave alone on tour after the omnipresent operation . It is in the company of his 3 technicians, but only on stage he will go back to basics. The time of a show he will iron his work whether alone on the piano or the guitar. A show tinged with humor, but that will touch people. Robitaille in its simplest expression, it is poetic, sparkling, pure, deep and pleasant! The tour will end on December 4, 2015. The album Univers Parallèle arrives in April 2017. Directed by Carl Bastien (co-director on Dream Better by Daniel Bélanger) and artistic direction, none other than Michel Bélanger. A first extract launched in November 2015 is needed on the radio. All fires all flame sets the tone for this album which wants to be festive, rhythmic and where the feminine vocal harmonies come pleasantly marry to the voice of the author-composer-performer. Since his debut, Damien has added several strings to his bow. He will have been an actor and animator in the cinema, in a documentary or in a television series. damienrobitaille.com/

Mclean

A pop / alternative hovering with rich harmonies and captivating rhythms. Mclean is reinventing himself with his second album Une Dernière fois, which still refines its aesthetic of dirty beauty. In duet, it is his musical versatility that is apparent; Classically trained guitarist, his compositional talents and his imaginative pen are as obvious as his dexterity as an instrumentalist. Acoustic, electric, eclectic, he transports his audience into a world all his own. mcleanlove.com/home

The album is directed by Mark Howard (Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Emmylou Harris). Cindy Doire creates a delicate and ethereal sensual atmosphere that meets a catchy, catchy and calculated groove. It seems to be the protagonist of a sci-fi road movie straight out of another era, riding a motorcycle on a desert road to discover his destiny. Words that draw the space between earth, air, water and fire, between lovers and friends and through the cycles that unite us and all that repels us and attracts us at the same time. Panorama is not only the title of Cindy's new album, but in a way, a new identity. cindydoire.com/
