*** Activity exclusively reserved for Université Laval students***

To get a taste of what winter has to offer in fun and sports, the Bureau de la vie étudiante invites you to a day of snowshoeing and cross country skiing at the Station touristique Duchesnay. Whether you are just starting out or are already a winter sports aficionado, this activity is for you. On its 89 km2, the Station touristique Duchesnay offers 70 km of trails for cross country skiing as well as a vast white forest for snowshoeing.

The day is divided in two parts: a morning of cross country skiing, followed by a guided off the trails snowshoeing expedition in the afternoon. The guides will provide numerous tips and information throughout the day, but only in French. The equipment for these two sports is included. This activity is aimed both for beginners as well as more experienced skiers as two trails are offered: 2km or 7km.

Station touristique Duchesnay: www.sepaq.com/ct/duc

When: Friday January 12, 2024. We will leave Université Laval at 9 a.m. (between Ernest-Lemieux and Alphonse-Desjardins buildings). Departure from the site at 3:30 p.m. and we will be back at the same place around 16:15 p.m.

Cost: 45 $, including transportation, equipment, service of guides and park entry.

Meal: You must bring your own lunch. You can also get snacks on the site. A microwave oven is available on site.
