The Bureau de la vie étudiante invites you to pick your own seasonal fruit at the Arthur Cauchon-Côté farm. This will be an opportunity to pick your own apples, raspberries, strawberries and other seasonal fruits or vegetables, taste different Quebec products and enjoy a relaxing moment in an enchanting setting.
The Arthur Cauchon-Côté farm is located in Château-Richer, about 30 km from Laval University.
Webiste: Ferme Arthur Cauchon-Côté
When: Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Departure at 9:00 am between Ernest-Lemieux and Alphonse-Desjardins buildings. Return to the same place around 12:30 pm.
Cost: $20, including transportation to and from the site, admission to the site and a 5-pound bag of apples. Possibility to pick and pay for other fruits and vegetables (blueberries, raspberries, squashs, corns, cucumbers, etc.) depending on the availability of the harvest.
We recommend you carry a bag or basket with you to transport your vegetables. Fruit can all be picked with your hands, but for some vegetables a small tool can help (knife, scissors, spoon/scoop).
Meals: Meals and snacks are not available on site. You can bring your own snacks or cold lunch if needed.
Attire: The activity takes place entirely outdoors. Dress accordingly to the weather. Bring good walking shoes, a hat and sunscreen.
Registration: Register online (credit card only) before August 27 at 11:45 pm. Limited quantity: first come, first served!
Non-refundable tickets: If you cannot come, you may transfer your ticket to someone else.

In the event that the site is closed due to very bad weather conditions, you will be notified of the cancellation or postponement of the activity by email and will be reimbursed if applicable.
