
Hiking in Jacques-Cartier National Park

The Bureau de la vie étudiante invites you to an outdoor day in the Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier. This national park, located 40 km north of Québec City, has over 100 km of trails along the Jacques-Cartier River and in the surrounding mountains. This is a unique occasion to enjoy a day in the great Canadian outdoor and to admire the view from the heights of the Laurentians mountains.
The activity consists of free trekking in the park. During the day,you will have access to the following trails: La Tourbière, L'Éperon, l'Aperçu, Les Cascades, Le Draveur Sud, Les Coulées, and l'Escarpement.

When: Monday, September 5, 2022. Departure at 10:00 am between the Ernest-Lemieux and Alphonse-Desjardins pavilions. Return to the same place around 4:45 pm.
Cost: $16, including transportation by bus and park entry.
Registration: Buy your ticket online before Thursday, September 1st at 11:45 pm. Space is limited: first come, first served!
Meal: On-site food services are limited. It is recommended to bring your own cold lunch and snacks if needed.
Clothing: The activity is held outside, you should bring clothing for all kind of weather, good sport shoes and if needed sunscreen and/or insect repellent.

Non refundable ticket: If you cannot come, you may transfer your ticket to someone else.
In case of very bad weather, you will be advised by email if the activity is cancelled or postponed and, if so, refunded.
