Trekking in the Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier

The Bureau de la vie étudiante invites you to an outdoor day in the Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier. This national park, located 40 km north of Québec City, has over 100 km of trails along the Jacques-Cartier River and in the surrounding mountains. This is a unique occasion to enjoy a day in the great Canadian outdoor and to admire the view from the heights of the Laurentians mountains.
The activity consists of free trekking in the park. During the day, you will be able to trek along the following paths: Les Cascades, Les Coulées, Draveur Sud, l’Aperçu and l’Escarpement
In order to plan your day, we advise you to look at the Discovery Guide, which is available on the park’s website: www.sepaq.com/pq/jac
When: Friday, July 8, 2022. Departure at 9:00 a.m. between the Ernest-Lemieux and Alphonse-Desjardins pavilions. Return to the same place around 3:45 pm.
Cost: $14, including transportation by bus and park entry.
Meal: There is no restaurant on the site, only a convenience store. We advise you to bring your own lunch.
Attire: The activity is held outside, you should bring clothing for all kind of weather, as well as good sport shoes.

Non refundable ticket. If you cannot come, you may transfer your ticket to someone else.
In case of very bad weather, you will be advised by email if the activity is cancelled or postponed and, if so, refunded.
