This spring, the Bureau de la vie étudiante de l'Université Laval invites you to a guided cruise on the St. Lawrence River. This day trip on the St. Lawrence will provide you with a new understanding of the river’s importance, history, geography and fauna. The trip also includes a visit to Grosse Île’s National Historic site, an experience you will not soon forget!

Grosse Île
From 1832 to 1937, Grosse Île was a quarantine station. More than 4 million immigrants stopped by Grosse Île on their way to Canada. One of Canada’s national historic sites, Grosse Île has over 40 historic buildings and 8 km of pedestrian trails. Nature and history are the essence of Grosse Île!

We will spend about 4 hours on the island, where you are free to discover it on your own, join one of the historical guided tours or take the touristic train and visit the easternmost tip of the island.
