GUITAR GALANTE EXTRAVAGANZA

The new trio formed by Pascal Valois, presents a magnificent program of galant works featuring the guitar. From Boccherini’s exhilarating Fandango to Vivaldi’s brilliant guitar concerto, including Monsieur Vidal’s unpublished concerto. The three members are among the most active musicians on the Quebec scene: Pascal Valois has been praised for his guitar albums on the Analekta label; Marie-Michel Beauparlant and Jacques-André Houle play in Montreal’s most important music groups, such as the Arion Orchestra and the Orchestre Philharmonique du Québec.
